I met Sally at Concordia in Bronxville, NY in 1961 and it was instantly a match. We dated through college and seminary, marrying between the 1st and 2nd year against the wishes of our parents. Actually it helped me considerably to stay focused. Our children are Jennifer, married to Arthur who have provided 3 of our 6 grandkids; Rachel, who married Matt, who have provided the second 3 grandkids. Our 3rd, Chad, has a very close friend and plans are incomplete or unknown at this time. The kids are in their 40s and the grandkids range from 9-19. Sally, my beloved, died after 48 years of marriage in December 2014 after a brief illness of about 5 months. My hobbies are fishing, gardening, following sports and photography though I tinker with a number of other things.

She has worked in various industries, to include corporate, office manager, fast food, landscaping, snowboard instructing, direct sales, event planning, mental health worker and higher education. This has given her a vast understanding of all different walks of life and the ability to relate with most individuals. She loves to worship the Lord, plays piano, guitar, and shaker egg, and loves to sing. She recently discovered she enjoys salsa and bachata dancing! Board games and karaoke are also favorites. Reading is a delight (especially Little House on the Prairie and Chronicles of Narnia) as well as anything creative, theater, and the arts.
She has a heart for those deemed “invisible” by society, the outcasts, and follows God’s promptings to serve them whenever possible and make sure they know they are infinite value and worth.
Jasmine has been very active all of her life, and in 2014 suffered a work-related injury which caused a few seasons of sedentary lifestyle. However, she is determined to make a full recovery and is running a Spartan Race in memory of a friend this July! She enjoys hiking, running, biking, soccer, volleyball, softball, really any team sport.
Jasmine traveled with Up With People, a global education organization which aims to bring the world together through service and music. The most important thing to know about Jasmine is that she Loves Jesus with all of her heart, soul, and strength and loves people, seeking to see them with the Lord’s eyes. She believes God takes everything we face in life and uses it for the good of all, and she’s looking forward to meeting the church family and happy to serve the body in Christ.
