All of our teachers are college graduates with years of experience in early childhood education. Our staff participates in training classes each school year and they are CPR and First Aid certified.
Sandra has been with Shepherd’s Care Children’s Center for a few years and proven she is a positively motivated, energetic team player with a passion for nurturing preschool students. Sandra has a degree from the Riga Teacher Training and Educational Management Academy, and additional experience in office management and marketing.
The Bees Class (3 Year Olds)
Christine, with years of lead teacher experience, gently guides many first time students to explore the world around them and socialize with each other. She has a knack for encouraging young children, even the most timid, to engage in academic and social learning situations.
Carolina, who always seems to be smiling, treats students with courtesy and patience. She kindly reinforces the class activities and encourages projects that promote fine motor skills.
The Owls Class (4 Year Olds)
Linda, the lead teacher, has over twenty years of experience teaching wiggly preschoolers and encouraging them to love learning. When students graduate from Ms. Linda’s class, they are as prepared as possible for kindergarten.
Jenn has a passion for teaching children through art. She has a degree from Marymount University in graphic design and her youngest is an alumnus of SCCC. Jenn joined the SCCC family this year, and we look forward to seeing her creativity in action.
