*...“This is the BEST Journey Through Bethlehem ever, I really liked how it was organized, it seemed to flow much better.” I would love to have the starry ceilings in our rooms every day...  SCCC Preschool Teacher.

*...David’s teacher went Saturday on my recommendation. They’re new to the area and her special-needs son loved it so much, they sent her friends and family, also new to the area.

*...RAVE REVIEWS!

*...I hope your church never stops doing this. It truly does spread the gospel to unbelievers.

*...I loved the addition of the wise men at the end! And I loved seeing the kids all starry eyed.

*...I believe it was more of a blessing to me, an LCGS volunteer, as I had an opportunity to speak with so many people that came to visit.  Each person had a special story to tell.  It was truly a gift to serve the community in this way.

Journey Through Bethlehem

Thank you to all the volunteers that helped make this event happen.  Here is a fun. time-elapsed video to see all the work involved in creating “the scene of 2,000 years ago”.  791 Visitors blessed us this year!

What Everyone is Saying!

Journey Through Bethlehem was a huge success, thanks to everyone who contributed time and talent. We added an hour to the presentation time, new characters, even a live Baby Jesus for awhile and scrambled some roles to add freshness to the parts. It was a record-breaking year - we entertained a record number of visitors and received a record amount of donations, which means the event will never have to tap into the church budget for set or costume additions or repairs. It is magnificent and I congratulate our amazing congregation for that kind of energy! What is important to remember is the event would have been diminished if any one person had not contributed. What is not calculated in the people or hours are the wonderful ladies who baked (a thousand??) cookies and simply dropped them off without taking credit for their contribution.
